10 Beehives, 4 Localities, More Than 350 Jars

Our solidarity beekeeping program has grown. With a total of 10 beehives distributed across several lush orchards in Luxembourg – between Remich, Peppange, Cents, and Lenningen – our little workers have been busy tirelessly.

The result? An exceptionally generous harvest this year! More than 350 jars of honey were sold on our premises, complemented by delicious soaps and granolas. These products are proof that preserving nature can go hand in hand with quality and enjoyment.

A Meaningful Project: Biodiversity and Local Impact

Beyond the treat, this initiative is fully in line with Baloise's desire to play an active role in Luxembourgish society:

1. Preserving Biodiversity and the Environment: By installing beehives in local orchards, we contribute directly to pollination and, consequently, to the sustainability of the region's flora. Bees are an essential link in the ecosystem, and supporting them is a concrete action in favor of the environment.

2. Supporting the Local Economy and Social Integration: The funds raised through the sale of these products are entirely reinvested. They allow for the purchase of new beehives to expand our project and, above all, to continue supporting local initiatives and social integration in Luxembourg. It is an ethical and circular approach.

Encouraged by this beautiful 2025 harvest, we are more motivated than ever to continue and develop this project. Every jar of honey purchased is one more step toward a richer environment and a more solidary society.
