Our story - a common passion for honey

We are often asked how we got started with beekeeping. At Honapi, we have a passion for honey, the environment and the bees. This came from our ancester and grand-parents. Our dad, Pascal Vigneron, had the chance to make honey since 1970. Pascal was able to follow his grand parents at the apiary. At that time, he had to build everything (hive, frame, wax).  

Our journey with bees re-started largely in 2022 when we decided to do a beekeeper training at the "Rucher des ammonites" based in France.

Family story

Knowledge is transmitted from father to son.Geoffroy joins the adventure to launch his own apiary. To become a beekeeper, Geoffroy completes the beekeeper training. Supported by the whole family, bees have found a new place in our lives. Our in-laws sponsor us to build our second apiary  - located in Ottange, France - within a flower garden and at the edge of a forest, perfect space for bees.

Our hives are located in 4 different spots to ensure the quality of our honey and propose new taste. You can found us in France (Hettange-Grande, Ottange, Elange) and Luxembourg (Remich). We are producing spring and summer honey with our buckfast and carnica bees.

  • Pascal Vigneron - Apiculteur (père)

    Entrepreneur en chef depuis plus de 30 ans, Pascal a relancé l'histoire familiale. Dès sa plus jeune enfance, il parcourait les marchés avec son grand père pour faire connaître le miel familial. Aujourd'hui, il développe nos ruchers et prend soin de nos colonies. Fort de son réseau, il nous permet d'apprendre les nouvelles techniques et de développer nos connaissances dans la création d'essaims et la fécondation des reines. 

  • Geoffroy Vigneron - Apiculteur (fils)

    Geoffroy adore relever des défis. Fort de son expérience de plusieurs années en tant que ingénieur dans l'industrie du e-commerce, Geoffroy participe au développement des stratégies de ventes en ligne, marketing et innovation lié à l'apiculture. Geoffroy est déterminé à devenir un apiculteur en poursuivant des formations apicoles et en s'occupant du cheptel de Ottange et Luxembourg
