Honapi is proud to announce the consolidation and expansion of its partnership with Baloise Luxembourg, a collaboration that places the preservation of biodiversity at the heart of its priorities. Thanks to Baloise’s decisive support, our actions in favor of nature now extend to every corner of the Grand Duchy, in close collaboration with major players in conservation.

Since our initial collaboration focused on solidarity-based beekeeping and the installation of beehives, this partnership has demonstrated that environmental commitment and a circular economy can be successfully combined. Today, we are shifting into higher gear to maximize our impact.

🌳 Concrete Action on the Ground

Baloise Luxembourg’s support enables Honapi to fund and implement pollination projects that contribute directly to the sustainability of the Luxembourgish ecosystem. Our action focuses on two major areas:

1. Support for farmers, market gardeners, and associations: We intervene in biodiversity zones, particularly traditional orchards and Natura 2000 areas. These ecosystems, often rich in floral and faunal diversity, benefit from our expertise in sustainable hive management. We work in collaboration with co-labor and the Luxembourg Scouts (FNEL).

2. Partnerships with National Institutions: The success of a biodiversity initiative requires collaboration with the organizations that work for nature in Luxembourg on a daily basis. Thanks to Baloise’s support, Honapi is able to provide financial and logistical backing to leading national institutions, such as:

   • The Nature and Forestry Administration (ANF): By supporting the ANF’s initiatives, we contribute to sustainable forest management, the maintenance of protected habitats, and public education on the importance of these nature reserves.

   • Natur&ëmwelt: We support the actions of this essential organization in its missions of awareness-raising, consulting, and practical and scientific projects for the safeguarding of biodiversity.
